i think i finally figured out why some blog images, when clicked, enlarge...
...we went out on our friend's boat the other day .... spotting osprey nests & dragging each other behind the boat - Emerald Cove was empty & the ranger there ensured us that it was the calm before the 4th of July [Independence day for our non American visitors] storm - we're laying low & keeping the cedar shingled roof wet.
